Dr. D’Innocenzo received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and his MD from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training in 1994 at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. D’Innocenzo joined the faculty of the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine/Boston Medical Center in 2006. He brings extensive expertise from his tenure in private practice and from his past teaching experience. He is presently director of pre-doctoral education at GSDM. His areas of primary interests include pre-doctoral education, ambulatory general anesthesia, treatment of maxillofacial pathology, and dental implantology. Dr. D’Innocenzo has published extensively and is involved in various associations at the national level. He has held the position of president of the Massachusetts Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He routinely presents scientific abstracts and presentations at national meetings. He is also a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgey, Diplomate of NBDA, Fellow American College of Dentist.
